Hear Their Stories

Without this church, I'm not sure where I would be today or even if I would still be alive." She was considering suicide when we invited her. God had other plans!
After a car accident, Diego accepted Christ in the hospital. This young man is growing in faith and attends worship as often as he can. He is hungry for God's word! He said, "I want my life to make a difference, especially in the life of my little brother.
- Amy & Stacy

Two teenagers, "Amy" and "Stacy", first attended youth group in early November, and were so excited and so interested in God's word that they wanted to be baptized. As we shared with them, they both accepted Jesus as their Savior that night! They will be baptized next summer at our annual Baptism Celebration on the Lake.

These are just a few of lives made new. God is moving as we continue to grow numerically. We are out-growing our present facility! We are now planning multiple services in our worship space, but the bathroom and children's ministry and fellowship areas are bursting at the seams!

South Troy Church is planning to add-on. We will keep the integrity of the historic "country church" while readying it to reach future generations. The addition will wrap around the church to the north. It will provide handicapped accessibility into the sanctuary, and will also include:

  • a "warming kitchen"
  • a larger nursery
  • two restrooms
  • space for large gatherings (enabling us to serve the community)
  • food shelf, clothing closet, and Pastor's office in our present basement
